EnableLabs Smart Sensors

EnableLabs Smart sensors measurefill-levels in bins via ultrasonic beams. Our sensors can monitor any type of waste (mixed waste, paper, plastics, glass, clothing, bio-waste, liquids, electronics, metal….) in bins and containers of various typesand sizes.EnableLabs’s solution is a result ofin-house R&D.

We design, develop and produce the sensors and all waste management software in-house and we are proud of it.

Build quality and resistance

The sensors are ultrasonic, robust, water and shock resistant, fully functional within wide temperature range, and are set to measure from 3 centimetres up to 12 metres

The sensors can monitor any type of waste and garbage in containers, bins and waste compactors of various types and sizes. The casing is made from recyclable glass fiber reinforced polyamide that provide not only an eco-design, but also helps with recycling.

Technology and connectivity

Sensors measure fill-levels in bins. Ultrasonic technology ensures top measurement accuracy.  Smart Sensors can connect toseveral IOT networks or GPRS to ensure fast data transfer. Payload and network communication isencrypted on two levels preventing misuse of EnableLabs Sensors for DDOS attacks.

All R&D is conducted in-house. The hardware is of high quality, making use of top quality electronic chips available. The sensors are equipped withreplaceable batteries with a lifespan of several years.

Optional features are temperature measurement, fire-alarm, tilt alarm and built-in BLE technology.

We do not limit customers to a certain network. Our customers have sensors connected to several networks – it all depends on the connectivity available in the given location. Smart Sensors from EnableLabs can be connected to a variety of IoT networks –Sigfox, LoRaWAN, NB-IoT and theCat-M1 wireless network. If an IoT network is not the right fit for you, GPRS is the safe option. Data is sent in real time to ourSmart waste Management System, one of the best waste management software on the market.
